Coastal Scholar, formerly Advanced Home Tutoring was founded in 2005 by school teacher, Paige Morgan O'Rourke. Coastal Scholar provides premier in-home tutoring in the Newport Beach, Newport Coast and Laguna Beach areas. We offer highly specialized one-on-one tutoring for almost all subjects within the K-12 curriculum. We also provide key test-prep programs for students looking to excel on the S.A.T.
Coastal Scholar tutors provide private, individualized attention that motivates and supports your child throughout their sessions. Our students find our tutoring extremely helpful and enjoyable. Our tutors are all experts in their subject matters. Unlike most tutoring companies, our tutors are actual credentialed teachers or specialized graduates.
Additionally, we keep parents involved. We will keep you up to date on your child’s progress at the end of each regularly scheduled session. If you ever have any questions, your Coastal Scholar tutor and our program director are always available to talk to you about your child’s program and answer any questions you may have.
